Tablets from light yellow to dark yellow in color with a smooth surface interspersed, flat-cylindrical with a bevel and a line, with a specific odor. Marbling is allowed on the surface of the tablets.

Compound

1 tablet weighing 0.65 g contains active ingredients:

• febantel – 0.150 g;
• pyrantel pamoat (embonate) – 0.144 g;
• praziquantel – 0.050 g

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose-102, sodium croscarmellose, milk sugar, potato starch, flavor, talc, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties

A wide range of anthelmintic action on round and tape helminths is based on the pharmacological action of the components of the drug Envire for dogs.

Febantel blocks the energy metabolism of round helminths, which leads to disruption of energy metabolism and causes their death.

Pirantela pamoate (embonate) is active against nematodes (round helminths), affects their cholinergic receptors, which leads to irreversible spastic paralysis of parasites. Nematodes are removed from the body of animals to the outside by peristaltic bowel movements.

Praziquantel is active against cestodes (tapeworms), increases the permeability of membranes for calcium ions, causes an increase in muscle activity, which is altered by muscle contraction and spastic paralysis, and causes destruction of the outer cover of adult cestodes. In some cases, tapeworms are completely digested by praziquantel and therefore are not found in feces.
